Daily Surf Report - 9/4/2012

50 year swell we have waited all summer for has arrived. Long period south swell from 195 degrees is here. Surf's Up!

Good morning water people! That South swell is still somewhat around but seems to be fading a bit more. The current temp is 54 degrees and it is a bit foggy. It should burn off later today but we are heading into the time of year where it seems to hang a bit longer. Big Wilt Chamberlin model boards are indeed the steed to ride.

Channel: Glass and no wind! Wasit + high mini barrels rolling through the middle bar, Groin pole towards the boat ramp. It's a floatier board day here. Six (6) lumberjacks on logs falling waves right now.

Patch: It's about waist high here today. Glass and rolling on through...and of course the "logability" is great! One (1) logboard in the Patch and Mary having a "Surfari" in Green/Africa.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.
