Daily Surf Report - 9/18/2012

Update; We will be closing today at 5PM!
Good day to all of you sea fairing types. So, it's a bit overcast and about 55 degrees but things look promising. It's should get to be in the low 70's later today and the surf looks okay. There is most definitely a wave to glide in the water BUT that wind is picking up a little too. Still, it's a great day to rent gear and learn to surf

CHANNEL: Tide is low right now but is incoming like artillery in WWII. A waist + left is breaking fairly clean on the Middle bar and peeling left like a late summer sunburn towards the Boat Ramp. The wind has put a five 'o clock shadow of texture on the water surface but nothing to get your undies in a bunch for. Four intrepid souls enjoying the delights of Indian Summer.

PATCH: Not quite yet but in a while the good 'ol Patch should yield a fun little log-able wave. Tide is still a little like a 1946 dropped, chopped and channeled Chevy Fleetside...low and slow.

Play a little Jimi today as this day marks 42 years of Mr. Hendrix' demise.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!!
PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

TIDES:

Low: 7:08 am 1.4'

High: 1:40 pm 6.5'

Low: 7:55 pm -0.1'
