Daily Surf Report - 2/24/2012

Another beautiful, clear, sunny day in Bolinas this morning...
Currently 51 degrees and warming up. Very light offshore winds grooming up the small waves. A great day to come out and have some fun at the beach.

Channel: Breaking really smooth, with a little spray off the back, in the thigh to waist high range. Fun left peelers. Seadrift rights continue to work also in the waist high range. Tide filling in may give a little push. Moderate N swell running on the buoys. Longboards are the call but midlengths will work on the rights.

Patch: Showing a bit more today. Still breaking way outside for SUPs and big logs in the waist high + range. Inside right is also still working and smooth and in the thigh high + range. Looks clean and fun.

New logs in the shop. Resin tinted and Volan cloth - a classic combination. Big wide noses and fins. Soft, buttery rails to cruise, glide and trim. These are both 10.0' and were shaped by master craftsman, Bob Miller, out of Santa Cruz. These are the last coming out of his shaping bay for a while as he is sailing off to warmer waters. If you want a board to rule the Patch come take a look.

2012 Tide Logs are finally in. Come by to pick one up.

Just a reminder to pack your trash!!! PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. Respect the Beach.

Tides:

Low: 6:46 am 1.2'
High: 1:02 pm 5.0'
Low: 6:48 pm 1.1'
