Daily Surf Report- 5/27/2011

11:30am Update -
Sun has come out. Drizzle has stopped. Patchy skies with light wind and still some waves.

Overcast, fog and drizzle today. Perfect end of May weather. Current temp is 55F. Silver lining - light wind and surf has come up a notch. Full parking lot this morning with lots in the water.

Channel: Waves breaking in the waist high + range with some nice long lefts. Both bars are working again and it is smooth and rideable.

Patch: Outside Patch has waves in the waist high size. Longboarders and SUPs out catching rights and the occasional left. More consistent than the past few days.

Beginner surfboard SALE! Making room for new inventory and clearing out some foam boards. Perfect to learn and practice your surfing on. These are the same boards we use to teach surf lessons.

10' Blue - $150 - perfect for men.
7' Yellow - $250 - great for groms. Softboard exterior with hardboard technology inside. Will surf great for years.



We have new locally shaped SK8 Hand Planes in the shop made from recycled skateboards. Pair it with a set of Churchill fins and you will always have a smile on your face after your session. Each plane is unique and has individual signed artwork. Come by the shop and check them out. Makes a great gift for the surfer in the family.

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our Summer hours from MAY through OCTOBER. Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

If your are in need of a new suit or board now is the time to pick something up as we are fully stocked with new gear. The rack has everything from Mini Simmons, fishes and eggs to classic longboards. We also have plenty of wetsuits, hoods, gloves and booties for your cold water surfing.
