Daily Surf Report - 5/20/2016

Inspirational Quote of the Day:
"
Is it weird in here, or is it just me?" - Steven Wright

Passing winds of change have left the type of serenity and sunshine one usually dreams about.  Temps have been whipped and dipped and now settle at 48F but clearing skies should have temps on the rise and predictions have removed real washing rain from our future.  Cautious sliders emerge from all manner of vehicle and direct glances upon exposed sands.  Rocky outcroppings are the dominant feature though low rollers generated from a hearty NW windswell are meandering towards shore at unplanned intervals.

CHANNEL: Low and slow as recently bottomed tide has sandbars rearing and knee high lefts searing across the grit.  Little lefts lacking punch or proficiency have seekers contemplating and calculating the tidal shift.  No current mobilization this direction by the suited and booted
but deep thoughts are being processed.

PATCH: Languishing upon low tide shores as a minor S swell shows well outside where the covenant of paddles lives.  Logs loaded, the insomniacs among us head blindly into the breech foraging for morsels to keep the stoke alive.
