PATCH: From the shore, a row of sentinels are visible, but just so in the morning light. They seem an impossible distance from shore, as exposed rock and sea fowl make for an obstacle-laden paddle out. After endless rotations of limbs, one finds only disappointment and regret, as shapes are haphazard at best, formless at worst. The mere act of doing must satisfy in the early hours, but as water levels increase, those seeking knowledge may find satisfaction by any means necessary.
