Daily Surf Report - 6/1/2015

Inspirational Crystal Quote Of The Day:
The best thing one can do when it's raining is to let it rain." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

The month of June has stumbled into the village like a displaced hitchhiker; damp, dirty, and in need of a nap. The mercury reads 57 degrees, but this feels like deception, or illusion. The last remnants of the recent S have made themselves scarce, and what is left in it's wake in no cause for celebration. At the risk of bearing bad tidings, other pursuits may be more to your liking this day, as the sea's offerings are meager and empty.

CHANNEL:  An oppressive grey. A forlorn and windswept beach.  Those seeking nourishment from the waters are absent, and the rain has kept even the most devoted of the jog crew in bed. First there is a wave, then there is no wave, then there is.

PATCH: Tis' a troublesome sign when one observes members of the paddle tribe exiting the waters, looks of grim resignation plastered to their faces. The exit of these stalwarts leaves the breakers vacant, and free to press only chaos and whitewater to the shore. Shapes of consequence will be few and far between, if at all. Keep an eye towards the future, and find solace in the fact that tomorrow is another day. In paradise. Or not.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
