Daily Surf Report - 5/10/2015

CLOSING EARLY TODAY - 5pm

Inspirational Crystal Quote Of The Day:
Life began with waking up and loving my mother's face.” - George Eliot

This spring morning starting with a bite at your nose. Misty and grey, temp at 53F but feels cooler. Hoping it will shape up to be a beautiful sunny day but nobody can say for sure. Likely the fog will linger for a good portion of the day. Still lots of parking, surfers returning do not look discouraged. Join the crowd and make the best of the day. Will be closing at 5pm for Mothers day.

CHANNEL:   Low tide effecting the Channel enough to be avoided by most and continues to drop to a negative low in the later morning. some knee high mini barrels coming through but looking too shallow to take action. Likely to shape up when the tide fills in giving a little push and cushion. Try again later but don't miss Mother's Day brunch!

PATCH: This is where the crowd seems to be building today despite exposed rock. Low tide in the patch is always risky but with a long paddle out you can steer clear of any dangers - do this to avoid damaging your sled. Let the Patch be your destination of the day. Go out and make a friend while the water is still there.

PACK IT IN. PACK IT OUT.
