Daily Surf Report - 1/17/2014

Full fledged sunny day with high pressure and offshore winds.  Temp already 60F and climbing.  Super clean, smooth and small conditions on tap.  Things are starting to brew up again in the WNW Pacific ocean and weather will again be clear, warm and dry.  New dose of swell on the horizon and maybe 24-36 hours away.  Today it is beautiful, beginner friendly and clear as a crystal.  Make your way to the beach and enjoy the long weekend. Charge your crystals in the moonlight and bring your sunscreen to the beach.  It is mid January and you don't want to get sunburned!

CHANNEL:  Magical micro-sliders rolling through the Groin bar and into Mali-Bo.  Enough to get longboards moving towards the beach and size is knee/thigh with wonderful spray off the back.  Toss your cares and troubles to the wind and ride a few today.  One of the nicest January days in recorded weather history.  Slightly left and occasionally right but mostly straight is the direction today.  6 in the water. 

PATCH: Beautiful weather morning but nothing to ride.  Take the kayak or SUP here for adventure and exploration.  Maybe find a ripple to ride.  Hang five....later dudes.
