Daily Surf Report - 2/26/2011

3:00pm Update - Afternoon snow flakes clearing to sunny skies and improving surf in the Channel and at Seadrift.

Sunny, frosty, cold morning with current temp of 38F. Lots of frost on the ground and icy windows. Clear, blue skies and a beautiful day already. Ocean has cleaned up from the storm but is small. Good day for beginners and learning to surf.

Channel/Groin: Waves are still breaking in 2' range with lefts on the sandbars. Small and rideable on a longboard.

Patch: Occasional waves here this morning. Knee high rights and you will need a big longboard. Great for beginners!

Hoping for improvement with the incoming tide.
