Daily Surf Report - 5/31/2010

Happy Memorial Day. Blue sunny skies with an occasional streaky cloud, warm temps and windless conditions. Great beach day as there is lots of sand with the low tides

Surf is still small in the shin to knee high range. No real swell activity out there but should improve somewhat as the tide fills in.

The Groin / Channel is currently unrideable due to the low tide.
The Patch waves are in the shin to knee high range outside of the rock.

Beautiful morning and the surf should improve as the tide fills in. Yesterday we had the occasional knee to thigh hi wave. Tides were best mid to late am and later in the afternoon and early evening. Don't want it too high or too low for this lack of swell.

Bring a longboard and cruise.

Tides:
8:34 am - Low -0.8'
4:09 pm - High 4.5'
8:45 pm - Low 3.0'

We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm for our summer hours through October. Come by to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.

The last of our fall inventory of used suits and boards are still for sale at low prices while we re-stock for spring and summer. Foamie and epoxy boards must go to make way for new boards. We have sizes available from 7'10" up to 10'2".

Come by the shop to check our new inventory of boards and wetsuits. If you are looking for a fish or longboard for summer we have a nice selection. We also have our new run of clothing from Ando & Friends, HippyTree and Carve.
