Happy Wednesday. Nicer day today...fog is gone. We have mostly cloudy skies with a little sun. It's 61 degrees as of 12:30 pm and there's only a side shore breeze.
Nice surf conditions--smooth and calm. S/W small swell is around 3 feet. The patch is averaging knee to thigh high with 6 surfers out so far this morning. There are about a dozen surfers in the channel where we see longer intervals, but an average of thigh high and some at the waist.
Great day to bring out the longboard.

There is a little bump from the west--the channel currently has waves in the knee to thigh high range breaking cleanly to the inside. There are two surfers out there along with two SUPs.

Surf is looking pretty small, but nice.
The channel currently has waves in the knee to thigh high range breaking cleanly to the inside. Definitely a longboard day.
The patch is currently flat. May improve with tide.
A beautiful day to paddle, surf, lay in the sun, whatever, just a beautiful day to be at the beach, especially in December!!

Daily Surf Report - 12/11/2010
Overcast with some fog. Patches of sun and blue sky peeking through periodically as well. No wind and temp is 56F. High pressure system kicking in and mild to warm temps are expected. Ocean is still smooth and organized today. Swell has dropped another notch but still coughs up some waves in the waist high + size with some energy.
Channel has surf that is smooth, glassy and fun. There are mostly lefts off the bar in the Channel and at the Groin. Thigh to waist high size on the better waves. There are occasional rights deep in the Channel an over towards Stinson as well. Mostly longboards in the water but a few shorter boards are catching waves on the inside and rides can be long and fun. Come to the beach and surf.
Patch has surf again as well and longboards and SUPs are out there. If you are in the right place there are rights to be had in the thigh to waist high range today. Bring your longest board.

Daily Surf Report - 12/10/2020
Misty, foggy, drizzle and overcast this morning. Perfect surf weather as it keeps the wind down. Temp is a balmy 55F again. Clearing conditions and sun is predicted for later today. Yesterday was a mix but wind was nil all day. Ocean is smooth and a bit more organized today. Swell has dropped a little but there are still waves.
Channel still has the best conditions with lefts off the bar at the Groin in the waist to chest to shoulder high size on the better waves. There are rights deep in the Channel an over towards Stinson as well. Mostly longboards in the water but a few shorter boards are catching waves on the inside and rides can be long and fun. Definitely waves today.
