Good morning, happy wet Wednesday! Total opposite weather from yesterdays sun...it is pouring rain and there's a 5-10 mph south wind. It's 53 degrees.
The surf is pretty crazy looking...there's 2-3 feet out in the patch with waist high sets in the channel. It's completely bumpy, disorganized and stormy with no one currently surfing. Of course if conditions improve, I'll update for you here, but otherwise I may close early, so please call if you plan on coming out, thanks!

Daily Surf Report - 12/7/2010
Happy Birthday Tanya! Enjoy your day.
Beautiful, sunny, clear weather greets us today with temps at 49F and no wind. Get some sun while you can as it probably wont last too long. Ocean is smoother and organized today and there is some rideable surf out there.
Channel has the best conditions with lefts off the bar at the thigh to waist high size. All longboards and SUPs out there catching waves. Tide is high until early afternoon when it may get better with receding water levels.
Patch is relatively flat again but good for SUP paddling. Hopefully will get better with less water but current swell is not showing up in this area.

Good morning and happy Monday to you. Our storm seems to have moved on and we are seeing partly sunny/cloudy skies right now. 5 mph breeze from the N/W and 55 degrees, it could turn out to be a pretty nice day.

Good morning.
This morning I was greeted with a bad high wind, high tide combo.
The sky is cloudy, it is raining. There is currently no one in the water.
The channel has some disorganized waves breaking in the waist high range, but its pretty mushy and blown out.
There is a tiny something breaking on the inside of the patch as well same thing though, mushy and blown out.
I will definitley update if conditions improve.
If conditions persist I may close up early. So check before you come out.
Checked conditions again, still no one out ,windy and mushy.
Will close at 1 pm today. Hope for better conditions tomorrow.

Daily Surf Report - 12/4/2010
Rain and wind mixture this morning - not the most conducive elements for a good surf day. New weather station predicts sun in the future! Current temp is 53F. Mostly windswell from the NW in the water. Don't forget it is December and the surfer in your family may want to find a nice new board under the tree for Christmas!
Channel has only pieces and parts of waves with 3 hearty souls in the water. Looks to be about waist high with mostly inside rights and an occasional left. High tide swamping it out and we will hope for improvement as the day moves along.
Patch is not feeling it due to tide and swell direction. Flat again but good for SUP paddling. Hopefully will get better with less water but current swell has W in it and may not show up in this area.

Again we have overcast skies with pathces of sun peeking through periodically. Temp is currently 51F and wind is blowing offshore. New weather station predicts a mixture of conditions with rain and sun in the forecast. Swell has kicked up a bit and ocean surface is smooth. Don't forget it is December and the surfer in your family may want to find a nice new board under the tree for Christmas!
Channel has smooth waves in the waist high + size with inside rights and lefts off the outside bar. Longboard still works best. A bit high tidey now but should improve as tide drops out.

We are now open daily from 10am - 5pm for our Winter hours through March. Come out to rent if you need gear. We have a full selection of suits, boots, boards and SUPs to rent every day and are only 522 steps to the beach.
