Starship Captains log, 9/17/2013, 3:33AM : No footing here, need golf shoes Another restless night tonight. Standing here over the table of power crystals all night. Fighting demons and all the evils trying to over take my soul. Extreme surfing experiences under the moon have left me weak, and with little good chakra left the creatures are on my heels. Watch your heads, its bat country. 57*f this morning with clear as crystal skies. Don't hide, run, no one in the water yet.

 



 

 

CHANNEL: Little left peelers all the way to Los Vegas with none of those crazy surfers in the water yet. Possibility for total mental and physical collapse are extremely probable. Knee high sliders are what we have so bend those knees and paddle toward shore hard. Lets get weird.

 

 

PATCH: No diving! Shallow and a negative in the wave department. Go have an experience you never guessed would happen, there are plenty floating around over here.

Its a smelly and beautiful day in town today. Road construction flares the nostrils and dampens the mind. Be patient at stops and you will get there on way or another. Shake of that weekend gel and rinse your energies clean in the beautiful ocean. Calm and collected 59*f with an absence of howling skies. Grab your star cream its going to be a sunny one.

 

 

CHANNEL: Little slippers are sliding but only expect a little gliding. Sets are in the double over head range for all participating bodysurfers. Stretch five and find the diamond in the rough. Fun is the name of the game while big boards are the nickname. Crowd Level 1: One fired up dude making the best of it.

 

 

PATCH: Radical and ridiculously small. No peeps or homies trying their luck and no one meditating on the sand. Plenty of room for all experienced soul searchers to find a wonderful toe high lump of energy. Love the morning and love what is on the table. There is more than meets the eye.

Good day to you crazy, creepy and sleepy people. Its a weird one this morning with weirder and wilder wings, dings, and things all day long. Practice your outer reach astronaut surfing style because its going to be a bumpy ride. Its a charming 58*f this sensual yet sophisticated morning and there are plenty of sweet sugar lumps of side stepping swell for all your soul opening surfing desires. Looking calm as a silent tree and the sun is in fact perv-ing on the whole scene.
 

 

CHANNEL:  I'm calling this corner of the world as it is. Surf in the calf to waist high plus, rip-able range and giving complete consent to all those weird and wonky pretend seal people all wanting a fish. If you need a wave to the sand find your self here and never speak of it again. Beautiful days.

 

 

PATCH: Courageous to the core. That's the name of the crazy game today. Only the truly pessimistic people will walk away without a smile and sore appendages. Total righteousness is exploding all over today and sets are knee to belly and plowing all the way to the rock pilings. Fun, fun and more fun.

Daily Surf Report - 9/12/2013

1:00pm Update:  The sun is out and the day is warm.  There are also waves to ride in town.

Somewhat drizzly, misty, overcast and foggy but who cares - the wind is nil, the ocean is super glassy, the temp is a balmy 62F, there are a few patches of blue sky and the surf has come up and is very rideable on a longboard.  As a surfer you can't ask for anything more.  Grab the log and ride! 

 

 

CHANNEL: Glassy lefts in the thigh to almost waist high size.  Smooth and rideable on a longboard and nothing but fun to be had.  Tide is mid-high and will stay that way most of the day. Not much more to say.

 

 

PATCH: Outside peaks that have surfers suiting up and running down the street.  Bring your big single-fin and ride rights that run up to waist high and hold.  Long period S swell in the water.  Small wave height but it will deliver plenty of rides today.

The second annual Mill Valley Surf Film Festival is coming up, Sept 13th and 14th at the Sweetwater in downtown Mill Valley. Tickets are on sale now. Looks like a solid lineup this year with Mason Jennings and Rogue Wave playing sets after the films each night.

Good morning all. It's another somewhat gloomy day here at the beach. Though it's not nearly as drizzly as yesterday it still has all of the charm of a naked Rosanne Barr pole dancing. The wind is way down but still slightly on-shore and the temp is a balmy 61 degrees. No real swell as of yet. What is out there is under knee high and crumbling/sectioning slower than a snail on cough syrup. If anything improves I'll be sure to holla!

And as a reminder, no matter what your political affiliation may be if any, please take a moment today to remember those who tragically lost their lives twelve years ago today.

 

 

CHANNEL: Crappy and section-y in the ankle to almost double-over calf size. Tide is going out and not much swell coming in. Maybe later... we'll see.

The second annual Mill Valley Surf Film Festival is coming up, Sept 13th and 14th at the Sweetwater in downtown Mill Valley. Tickets are on sale now. Looks like a solid lineup this year with Mason Jennings and Rogue Wave playing sets after the films each night. 

 

SUMMER HOURS are now in effect. We are now open daily from 9am - 6pm from MAY through OCTOBER.
