Happy last day of August. As of noon, the fog has cleared. There's only a side shore breeze so far.
Smaller surf than yesterday so far. We have 1-2 ft waves out in the channel, so around knee high over there and smaller in the patch. As the tide rises this afternoon I will leave an update.

Good afternoon, happy Monday. This morning and early afternoon were sunny, but as of 3 pm the fog has moved back in heavy. Pretty steady 10 mph onshore winds have picked up. Temperature in the 60s.
Residual south swell--some waves in the Channel / Groin currently at knee to thigh high with long intervals. Some sets are waist high and above, but it is very choppy due to the wind, and there's a strong current in the channel. Patch is about knee high.

This morning we have overcast skies, mild temps, and just a slight breeze.
Dying/residual south swell is fading but there still are some small waves to be ridden. The Channel / Groin currently has the best wave in the thigh to waist high range with a fun left that breaks all the way to the beach. Patch is not working at this point perhaps with the incoming tide it will improve.

Daily Surf Report - 8/28/2010
We have sun again this morning. Fog is on the horizon but the winds are off-shore today so that should keep the skies clear. Temps are currently mild and should warm up as the day wears on. Looks like a good beach weekend.
Dying/residual south swell is fading but there still are some small waves to be ridden. The Channel / Groin currently has the best wave in the thigh to waist high range with a fun left that breaks all the way to the beach. The Patch has surf outside at the rock again but the size has dropped. Best waves are waist high with a long interval wait between sets. There are surfers out now at both spots and longboards are the call for best results.

Daily Surf Report - 8/27/2010
Good Morning and happy Friday! We are greeted today with SUN! Yes, SUN and mild temps with a glassy ocean. Weather should stick around through the weekend so come on out to the beach.
Residual south swell still giving us rideable surf today.
The Channel / Groin both have surf in the thigh to waist high range that has lefts and rights working. Rideable on a longboard with the Mali-Bo inside still working. The Patch has surf outside at the rock again. Sets are averaging waist high + with the typical long interval wait that a South swell produces. There are surfers and SUPs out there now.

Daily Surf Report - 8/26/2010
Morning overcast and coastal fog but no drizzle today. Temps are currently mild and wind is very light. Expect to see the sun later in the day as weather predictions are still for high pressure to return through the weekend. Ocean surface is smooth.
New South swell is filling in and The Channel / Groin both have surf in the 3' + range that has lefts and rights working. Rideable on a longboard with the Mali-Bo inside working as well. The Patch also has surf both outside at the rock and inside as well. Sets are averaging 3 - 4' with the typical long interval wait that a South swell produces. There are surfers on SUPs out there now.

Beautiful sunny Wednesday morning with no clouds. Temperature is already almost 70 degrees and rising fast. Onshore breeze.

Glassy conditions. Small south swell. There's surfers in the patch and channel both. Both sides look to be averaging knee to thigh high with a few larger sets at the waist. There are long intervals where it's pretty flat...but still beautiful!
