Surf is still small in the shin to knee high range. No real swell activity out there but should improve somewhat as the tide fills in.
The Groin / Channel is currently unrideable due to the low tide.
The Patch waves are in the shin to knee high range outside of the rock.
Beautiful morning and the surf should improve as the tide fills in. Yesterday we had the occasional knee to thigh hi wave. Tides were best mid to late am and later in the afternoon and early evening. Don't want it too high or too low for this lack of swell.
Bring a longboard and cruise.

Sunday 5-30-10, another beautiful day...
...unless you're aching to surf big waves.
Good morning 8:30am report. Perfectly sunny skies, mild temps and windless conditions. Great day to come out to the beach, yesterday was warm all day and light winds, today may be a bit warmer.
Surf is still small in the shin to knee high range on the extreme low tide now.
The Groin / Channel is currently unrideable, under knee hi.
The Patch waves are in the shin to knee high, outside rock is 70% exposed, take a picnic out and sit a while on it!

Daily Surf Report - 5/29/2010
Good early morning. We are greeted by perfectly sunny skies, mild temps and windless conditions. Great day to come out to the beach.
Surf is still small in the knee high + range. 2 long period swells are not really showing themselves due to the extreme low tide at the moment. The Groin / Channel has smooth waves that are knee high. The Patch waves are in the knee high + range outside of the rock. Lots of seals swimming around. Beautiful morning and the surf should improve as the tide fills in. Bring a longboard and cruise.

Daily Surf Report - 5/28/2010
Good morning. We are greeted by sunny skies with the occasional cloud. Windless and mild temps. Predicted nice weather through the weekend so let summer begin.
Surf has cleaned up quite a bit from yesterday but still looks to be a combination of windswell that is producing smooth but small waves. The Channel has a group of surfers catching rights and lefts in the thigh high range. The Patch has some Stand Up Paddlers and surfers catching waves in the knee to thigh high range outside of the rock.

1:54 pm - High 4.6'
6:14 pm - Low 2.7'

Daily Surf Report - 5/27/2010
Rejoice - the sun has come out and summer has officially started. Rain is over and winds have died down. Surf needs to clean up to become rideable but the weather is cooperating at this time. Should be a nice weekend if we all cross our fingers.
If you need to get wet it is fairly disorganized all over the beach and knee high at best although the wind is knocking everything down.

Surf: Small S/W swell. Everyone is surfing the channel this morning to the far left of the groin. The surf looks on average knee high with sets that were knee to waist and even a bit larger. The patch looks smaller at 1-2'.

It's a dark Tuesday morning. 55 degrees and the wind is beginning to pick up. So far we've had only drizzle, but as of noon it is a steady rain.
Surf: Not looking great at the moment...smaller than yesterday and maybe 1-2' or so in the channel and a knee high sets at the patch. Mainly it looks stormy and choppy. The S/W swell has died out a bit.
