Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“So many books, so little time.”  - Frank Zappa

WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 4:30PM TODAY. DOORS WILL RE-OPEN TOMORROW AT 9AM.

Clear and cool this morning in BoBo. Slight cloud cover hovering above our little piece of heaven. Normal Bolinas conditions today. Small knee high waves rolling into the middle channel to the groin pole. A few hardy souls on there logs giving it a go. The patch is not fairing so well with ankle high waves rolling through with vary little shape. Sea drift looks to have a little more activity this morning. Outside temp 55F with a forecast of mid 70s.The tide is on its way back in at the moment so get here before it swamps its self out.

CHANNEL: Knee high waves rolling into the middle channel peeling off towards the groin pole. Workable size keeps the few people out happy this morning. Sea Drift is fairing a little better. Knee high waves with decent shape.

PATCH:  Not the same story out at the patch this morning. Ankle to shin high waves with little shape turning to mush. Few people out earning there rides.

Daily Surf Report - 10/6/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
Our life always expresses the result of our dominant thoughts." - Soren Kierkegaard

WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 4:30PM TODAY. DOORS WILL RE-OPEN TOMORROW AT 9AM.
Super foggy conditions this morning. Foggy enough to make the visibility from the beach limited. Plenty of people suiting up and heading out this morning. From what I heard standing on the beach, it sounds like the surf is good. Weather conditions cool with an outside temp of 56F. The water is pretty high on the beach at the moment. When the fog clears the weather today should be in the high 70s to low 80s. Looks like the perfect fall conditions will continue. Come early, the parking is already filling up.

CHANNEL:  Expect similar conditions to yesterday. Waves expected to be in the thigh to chest high range today. Water looks smooth and glassy from where I was standing.

PATCH:  Hard to see that far out. After walking down pass the sea wall, the inside swell looked good. This would lead me to believe that the same conditions exist at the patch that are hitting the channel. A repeat of yesterday is on order for this morning.

Daily Surf Report - 10/5/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.”Walter Bagehot
Better surf than usual today. Pee Paw reports Northwest swell and a nice south groundswell coming in. Lots of water on the beach at the moment. the current temp is 53F and is looking to be a warm one. Already a good size pack out there and the streets are filled.  Early birds get worms and others get doughnuts!
CHANNEL:  Looking alright today with some waist+ high rollers. A few good sets coming in this morning, grab em while they're still here. Tons of water in the Channel with the high tide but will wash out soon.  Now smooth, fast and fun lefts to be had for surfing and other endeavors.

PATCH:  Whomp, whomp - the Patch still delivers surf.  South swell treating us well this morning pushing some waist to chest walls. "Super fun" as the boss man says. Very crowded right now with 20+ people catching the leftovers from the morning crew.

Daily Surf Report - 10/4/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
"Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough." - Og Mandino

Clandestine mission with only fantastic, foraging foxes to witness the deeds.  Owls and bats rule the domain and creatures of the night get first waves.  A day of atonement and wiping slates clean.  Darkness giving way to a day of sunshine, rainbows, crystals and dare I say - SURF.   Temp now 55F and expect 90+ later.  No wind to ruffle feathers.  Still have NW windswell of decent variety and the S has kicked in.  Plenty to ride and parking is already nil.  Tide is peaking and full.  Lots of water moving around and beach access can be dicey at times.  Have awareness of your surroundings and tread lightly.

CHANNEL:  Pop up peaks and still waves to ride.  Incoming tide making Mali-Bo a secret favorite choice.  Lefts off the Groin still has a good bar and holding shape at waist high.  Enough energy for mid-length boards but with the higher tide a longboard is best.  Outgoing early afternoon picked up and pulsed with wedges worth riding and lefts that delivered the goods.

PATCH:  Radical and rhythmic.  Percolating with consistency and positivity as well.  Good S swell finding its way in on the higher tide and delivering plenty of surf for all types of boards.  Ride how you like.  Single-fin logs to stubby shortboards are working today in all the spots to Patch offers.  Set waves going chest to shoulder high.  Wide open, smooth faces for riding and ripping or toe tripping.  Lots of water and getting a bit back-washy.  If you were on it early you scored.  If you decided to sleep in today don't blame us.  Get it while it's good as nothing lasts forever.  Plenty of surfers in the water and more heading out.  Both seawalls need to be timed and climbed but it is worth the effort.  While you're at it, have a Fresca.

Daily Surf Report - 10/3/2014

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

A touch of Fall as temps dip to 54F.  A blend of Indian Summer as temps rise to 90F+.  Sunny skies and no wind to get the day started.  A seamless mix of opposites combine to create a beautiful day.  A NW windswell and a long period S swell are doing the dance as well today and creating magic in the water.  Close your eyes and see the true reality.  Let your mind be half rigid conventionalism and half unfettered thought.  Know what is unspoken and discover the real meaning of life as you live it.  It is a surf day and a Bo-beautiful one as well.

CHANNEL:  Still getting the NW windswell pulse and incoming tide providing the extra push.  Lefts and rights off the Groin bar that run waist high or better.  A few rights working their way into Mali-BO as well.  Not as clean as yesterday but enough energy to ride a shorter board today.

PATCH:  S swell pulsing and delivering glassy waves for all Log Jammers.  Rolling peaks that go waist up to chest high.  Reeling rights that race towards shore.  Outside walls that hold form.  Inside pitchers for the ripper crew.  A plethora of fun options today and warm water as well.  Lots of long waves to explore and good vibes prevail in the lineup.  Peaking tide starting to wash things out and access is adventurous but overall a great way to get the day rolling.

“Everybody it's a good thing. Ain't it true it's a monumental good thing.” - Devo

WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 5:00PM TODAY.
DOORS WILL RE-OPEN TOMORROW AT 9AM.

Beautiful stuff this morning as we experience clear and sunny skies, no wind and a touch of Fall with temp at 54F.  Expect inland heat and beachside warmth.  Long period S swell starting to trickle in and a NW windswell for the combo effect.  The results are good and positive for surfing endeavors this morning.  Tide has just peaked and will remain relatively full for the day so game on to get wet.  Great day for amateurs and seasoned surfers to get some waves and catch some rays as well.

CHANNEL:  Middle bar off the Groin consistent with waist high rollers that are silky smooth and roll left towards shore.  Liking the NW swell direction and has a pack of 10 on it.  Should hold form throughout the day with tides positive and vibes to match.  Suit up and grab your longboard to join the party.

PATCH:  A nice solitary spinning right working on the inside and going un-ridden as the masses congregate in the Channel.  Be an individual and surf this wave til your heart's content as it is all yours for the taking.  Size is thigh high + and it is smooth.  S swell sets showing out the back but intermittent for now as more swell needs to fill in.

Inspirational crystal quote of the day:
“The point of the journey is not to arrive.” - Rush

WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 4:30PM TODAY. DOORS WILL RE-OPEN TOMORROW AT
9AM.

Well, the surf gods must be on vacation this hump day morning. Beautiful clear skies with no wind and no surf. Outside temps are 53F with a forecast of the low 80s today. The weather will improve, lets hope the surf will follow. An occasional ankle slapper is rolling into the channel and groin pole. One hardy soul is out trying to make a go of it. The patch is not fairing any better this morning. It looks like a good day to sit on the beach and catch some rays.

CHANNEL: Not much. What is rolling in looks pretty bad. Small to maybe shin high sloppy rollers with no consistency.

PATCH:  The same for the patch. What I could see was way, way, way outside.
