Surf is smaller than yesterday with a little texture. It looks around 2' average in the patch and 2-3' in the channel towards the Stinson side. Bring your longboard today.

There's some S/W swell, not as big as yesterday. The patch has knee to thigh high sets. The surf did clean up some this afternoon and was not as bumpy/choppy as this morning. Still not much is happening in the channel.

Hope everyone had a nice 4th! More fog this morning with drizzle. Hopefully the sun will come out later? There's a bit of onshore wind.
There's a S/W swell in the water showing mostly at the patch. Not much is breaking in the channel. Around 35 guys are out there at the patch catching waist high average waves and some sets are chest high. The surf is a little rough with lots of texture on the water. Looks like fun out there.

Daily Surf Report - 7/4
Happy 4th of July!
Today we have a parade downtown, come join the fun. There is NO parking downtown today. You can go park up on Mesa Road by the fire house and take a beautiful hike down to town.
We have beautiful, sunny skies, no wind and warm temps already. Grab the shovel and pail, sunscreen and surfboard and come on out to the beach to celebrate independence day.
We have waist high waves in the Channel that are ride able on a longboard. Fast and fun and breaking all the way to the inside. South swell is showing in the water and should fill in as the day progresses. Patch currently has small waves on the inside and is starting to break outside, should clean up as the tide goes out and swell fills in.

We have thigh high dredgers in the Channel that are rideable on a longboard. Fast and fun and breaking all the way to the inside. South swell is coming up the CA coast and we are predicting triple over knee surf by this afternoon into the evening. Patch is currently flat but should improve as the tide and swell fills in.

We have sunny skies and light off-shore breeze this morning. Temps. are mild and are warming up. The weather is beautiful and predicted to hold in this nice pattern.
We have small surf today. Best waves are currently in the Channel and at Seadrift where the waves look to be knee to thigh high and have a nice spray off the back. There are a few surfers in the water all on longboards. The Patch has very small surf with the low tide but should improve with more water later in the day. Bring your longest board or come rent! South swell predicted to arrive Sat. into Sun.
