Beginning small pulses from the South swell are on the horizon. Long interval lines still producing small surf due to the low tide. Surf is concentrated in the patch with Stand Up Paddleboarders and longboarders catching knee high waves. The Channel and Seadrift are showing signs of life but need more water to be rideable. Great beginner/kid day.

Daily Surf Report - 5/6/2010
Well we have another beautiful sunny day out here with no clouds in sight, 54 degrees and light to no wind.
Surf:
South swell not here yet but showing up on some of the southern bouys. Surf is concentrated in the patch with Stand Up Paddleboarders and longboarders catching knee high waves. Great beginner/kid day.

Hi, good morning and welcome to Wednesday. We have another beautiful sunny day out here with no clouds in sight, 53 degrees. There's a pretty strong sideshore wind at 10-15 mph.
Surf:
More of the same as yesterday. Flat in both the patch and channel, although I saw a couple of folks on longboards catching ankle to shin high waves close to shore. Great beginner/kid day if you don't mind the chilly wind.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Another gorgeous sunny day with blue skies and smiling faces. There's a sideshore breeze this morning...the wind is not strong (yet.)

Tiny southwest swell. The surf is smaller than yesterday...flat to .5' in both the channel and the patch. No one is out this morning, but I did see a few guys getting their SUPs ready to go. Great day for a swim!

It's a beautiful day today, sunny skies, offshore breezes. Unfortunately, at this point, we are lacking in the surf department, mostly due to the low tide.
Currently, the occasional wave is breaking in the knee high range, out side the patch and at the channel. Mostly stand up paddlers, and a few long boarders out. The surf should pick up as the tide comes in.

Daily Surf Report - 5/1/2010
Another morning of sunshine with cool temps. Beautiful clear skies. Periodic off-shore winds somewhat gusty at times.
Surf:
There is still a small S/W swell in the water with waves in the thigh high range. Everyone is on longboards at the Patch due to the low tide. The surf is fun, traded rights and lefts in the early morning with DW. Channel will need more water to work and the afternoon may bring waves there.
Tides:
Low - 8:14 am -1.0'
High - 3:41 pm 4.4'
Low - 8:09 pm 2.8'
